Pressure, rudeness, money talk or profile photos that do not match — one tap blocks them and our team is notified.
The fine-print habits that protect you
- Reverse image search. Drop their photo into Google Images — scammers reuse stock photos across profiles.
- Never share your OTP for any bank app, UPI, or “verification”. It is always a scam.
- Keep money out of dating. No loans, no gift cards, no “traveling to meet you” emergency funds.
- Location on your own terms. Meet where cameras and people exist — not at someone’s home.
- Transport planning. Arrange your own transport there and back so you are never dependent on a stranger.
- Alcohol and clarity. Stay clear-headed for the first few meetings; decisions should be fully yours.
- Check in with a friend. Share your live location once, share your plan, and text them after it is over.
- Block, report, move on. One odd message is enough. You owe nobody an explanation.
